Abigail Jones Records “Jagged Lines” with Venus Guitar
At just 14 years old, Abigail Jones is already turning heads with her talent, passion, and determination. Most recently, she brought all of that to the studio when she recorded her original song, “Jagged Lines,” at the Owen Hall Recording Studio on the University of the Pacific campus in Stockton, California.
As part of the Pacific High School Summer Institute’s immersive Music Industry Program, Abigail had the opportunity to work with top-notch gear, collaborate with other aspiring artists, and dive into the songwriting and recording process under the guidance of industry professionals—including Venus Guitars Brand Ambassador Christine Taunton. Christine, an instructor at the Institute and guitarist for The Sweet Taunts, played a key role in mentoring students during this inspiring week-long program.
Abigail’s performance on “Jagged Lines” is special for another reason—all the guitar parts were recorded using the Venus Revolution Elite Blue Morpho guitar.
“When I got to record with this high-end guitar, it was an amazing experience because the guitar felt so smooth and the tone was crisp—even with heavy distortion,” Abigail shared. “I haven’t played many guitars, but of the ones I have, this one by far is the best. I love that it’s fitted for a woman. Every chord comes easily, and the fretboard is narrower, which makes it easier for transitioning between chords.”

It’s safe to say the Venus Revolution made an impression. Abigail also noted how much she appreciated the lightweight body and eye-catching finish of the Blue Morpho model—designed not just to sound incredible, but to feel comfortable and inspiring in a player’s hands.
Fans will get to hear Abigail perform “Jagged Lines” live for the first time on July 3, 2025, at the Downtown Lodi Farmers Market, alongside The Sweet Taunts.
