At just 14, Abigail Jones is already making waves with her talent and passion for music. She recently recorded her original song, “Jagged Lines,” at the University of the Pacific’s Owen Hall Recording Studio, where she participated in the Pacific High School Summer Institute’s immersive Music Industry Program. Guided by industry professionals, including Venus Guitars Brand Ambassador Christine Taunton, Abigail explored songwriting, recording, and performance in a handson, collaborative environment.
All the guitar parts on “Jagged Lines” were recorded using the Venus Revolution Elite Dark Roast Edition. Abigail praised the guitar’s smooth feel, crisp tone—even with heavy distortion—and its player-friendly design, noting how the slim fretboard and lightweight body made playing effortless and inspiring.

Christine Taunton is a powerhouse guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, educator, and music industry professional. As a Brand Ambassador and Product Specialist for Venus Guitars, she showcases the Venus Revolution line through dynamic performances and artist outreach. Christine is also a Board Member of the Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) and an educator at the University of the Pacific’s Summer High School Music Industry Program, mentoring young musicians and guiding the next generation of artists.
Founder of Sweet Taunt Music LLC and performer with The Sweet Taunts, The Heracanes, and I Heart Zep Tribute, Christine brings her artistry and expertise to live performance, recording, and tribute work. Her career includes performing with legends through Rock ’n’ Roll Fantasy Camp and studying under Heart’s Craig Bartock.
